Do you know the uses of microfiber textile?--Jiaqi Microfiber Textile

Microfiber is a fine synthetic fiber with thickness that is equal to or less than 1/60th the thickness of an average human hair. Microfiber is versatile, washable, breathable and water-repellent, which is why many manufacturers of garments make different types of microfibers that are appropriate for many different applications. Not surprisingly, you will find microfibers used in the fashion, furniture, car and cleaning industries.

Apparel

Making apparels is one of the many ways manufacturers take advantage of microfiber materials. Used for outfits and undergarments, microfibers are comfortable to wear. A microfiber's breathable and windproof characteristics help prevent even the smallest drops of water from entering while letting perspiration vapors pass through.

Some types of microfibers have good draping qualities, which make them ideal for swimwear, underwear and fashion knitwear. The lighter and softer microfibers are more suitable for making hosiery and undergarments. Scarves, handkerchiefs, sweatshirts, sportswear, leggings, socks, vests, gloves and tracksuits are other garment uses for microfibers.

Upholstery

Upholstering a sofa or chair is a common use for microfibers. Makers of furniture use microfiber to give consumers an option that is more economical than leather, but requires less maintenance than cotton, linen or silk. A warp-knitted, ultra-microfiber known as Rojel has the look and feel of leather, which is an inexpensive option for those who prefer the leather-look. Car seats upholstered in microfibers are very comfortable and easy to care for because they are water-repellent and resistant to stains.

Cleaning Cloth

Manufacturers produce microfiber cleaning towels intended for household chores such as cleaning floors, countertops, appliances, windows and furnishings. The cleaning towels also work well for cleaning and polishing the interior and exterior of a car. Auto manufacturers use microfibers all the time in preparing their cars for the showrooms.

Military Applications

Tactel HT, a DuPont trademark, uses polyamide microfiber, which is a strong microfiber material typically used to make parachutes. Military products made of Tactel HT include tents, duffel bags and ponchos. They also use microfibers for making aircraft covers and for cleaning weapons, aircraft, ships and tanks.

Accessories

Some manufacturers use microfibers to make different accessories that people can use daily. Bags such as purses, handbags, duffel bags, lunch bags and backpacks made with microfibers are very durable because the material can handle excessive wear and tear. Belts, wristwatches, braided bracelets and wallets are other accessories that are sometimes made with microfiber materials.

Towels

Bath and hair towels made of microfibers are super-absorbent. Woven from ultra-fine microfibers, the towels draw water from the hair and body faster and more thoroughly than ordinary towels. Towels made of microfibers are also gentler on hair and skin.

Blankets and Tablecloths

Using polyester microfibers to make throws, comforters and blankets makes them softer and more comfortable. As tablecloths, microfibers can protect a dining table from burns and scratches.

Toys

Plush toys made with microfiber towel materials are soft to the touch, which makes them ideal for babies. They are also easier to wipe clean or wash.
