Manroland ROLAND 700 HiPrint with 7 new features

On September 26th, 2014, Manroland Sheet Printing Systems Co., Ltd. of Germany, through continuous research and continuous development, equipped the ROLAND 700 HiPrint printer series with 7 new functions. The new model is equipped with more powerful performance, not only further consolidating the leading position of the HiPrint press in the global packaging printing market, but also helping the global printing companies to create greater value.

Thanks to customer feedback, these seven new features will be first implemented on the six-color ROLAND 700 LV HiPrint press and will subsequently be extended to the entire ROLAND 700 HiPrint press series.
Among these new features are Manroland's Synchronous Plate Change Technology (SPL). Now, with the press of a single button, the press operator can simultaneously perform plate change and blanket cleaning operations, saving up to 7.5 minutes per job and converting to continuous shifts. Printing companies can increase up to 2,700,000 annually The productivity of the printed sheets significantly reduces production costs and increases profits and competitiveness.
These features also include the new "Spiral Feeder" paper guide technology from Manroland Sheetfed, which replaces the traditional suction roller with a suction belt and can hold the paper in a large area. Provide more precise control, improve the accuracy of paper braking, and can control the print sheet at high speed.
The third major advantage is the significant increase in the maximum printing speed, which has increased from 16,000 prints/hour to 17,200 print/hours, providing an opportunity to increase production and greatly increase production efficiency.
Another greater feature is Manroland Sheetfed's proven LEC (Low Energy Curing) UV curing technology. Manroland's LEC UV curing can reduce costs with lower power consumption and less space compared to the higher costs that traditional UV curing can produce. The technology originated from the Japanese demand for lower power consumption after the earthquake and was later optimized in Europe to use improved inks that are better suited for low-power UV light. The process will consume less energy and thus reduce production costs.
Manroland's InlineInspector inline inspection system monitors every printed sheet 100%, thus greatly improving the accuracy of the helium detection. The system can perform a thorough inspection and quality management of printed sheets at the highest printing speed, which will further reduce errors, reduce waste sheets, and increase customer satisfaction!
The new sheet-fed ink-jet coding device provides a feasible solution for achieving the highest accuracy in sheet misidentification. Each print can be printed with a unique code to reduce waste, speed up the printing cycle, and ultimately achieve higher profits.
Finally, the InlineFoiler in-line cold-stenciling technology from Manroland Sheetfed provides the step foil feeding function, which will reduce the material loss by 19% to 62% per printing job.
Mr. Pang Ruifan, CEO of Manroland Sheet Printing Systems Co., Ltd. said: “In today's rapidly changing printing industry, issues such as delivery time, print quality and total production cost continue to challenge printing companies of all sizes. ROLAND 700 HiPrint Printing The new features of the machine have done a lot to meet these challenges, and our R&D team is very proud of these development projects. These new features have shortened the preparation time for printing, reduced the waste of printed materials, increased the production efficiency, and improved the printing. Quality, we expect our customers to achieve significant improvements in performance and lower total production costs.”
