Printing Tips: How much is known about digital printing?

Digital printing can be mainly divided into the following categories:
(1) The computer prints images directly on paper, such as: ink jet, dusting, and heat transfer.
(2) The computer goes directly to image carriers (print plates, rollers), such as: electrophotography, electromagnetics, and direct on-machine platemaking.
According to the printing mode can be summarized as: inkjet, thermal transfer, electrostatic (electromagnetic), digital lithography and other four.
The ink jet printing system mainly uses water-based or oil-based inks, and controls the ink amount and diffusion characteristics in the nozzles through a computer to achieve image reproduction effects.
The dusting system mainly uses direct printing in which a toner is directly ejected to a recording medium such as paper. Can achieve low-cost, fast and stable high-quality printing.
Thermal transfer printing systems are mainly hot wax type and thermal sublimation type. The printing method is to use a computer to control the heat print head to transfer the image or text to the substrate through a wax ribbon or a dye-sublimation printing material.
Electrostatic (electromagnetic) printing systems are mainly charged powdery or electrolytic inks that are absorbed on substrates such as paper or plastics. The inks are then heated to melt and adhere to the substrates to form images. A digital lithographic printing machine uses the digital data output from a computer to directly make a plate on a printing press, and then uses a lithographic printing principle to complete the printing.
