Frozen packaging industry has added new products

In order to overcome the defects in the refrigerator's freezing and destroying the original flavor of food, related companies began to pay attention to the research and development of frozen packaging materials. Recently, a new invention has been introduced to the market.
This high-density polyethylene material developed specifically for frozen food packaging was successfully developed by Dow Plastics' Polyolefins and Elastomers (PO&E) business unit. Its grade is Dowlex IP-51 with a melt index (MI) of 50 g/10 min and a density of 0.947 g/cm3.
It is understood that this new product has better impact strength and processability than conventional low-temperature hard-packed HDPE grades. In addition to being particularly suitable as a container for products such as ice cream and milk sorbets, it can also be used to manufacture thin-walled injection molded products such as yogurt cups, deli and milk packages, beverage cups, and the like.
