MetalIFX® technology, combined with a special prepress procedure, can print a virtually unlimited number of metallic colors and effects with just five inks in a single pass. The four translucent overprinting primary colors are printed directly on the specially developed MetalIFX® silver primary ink. The accuracy and the degree of bright colors make the effect of this printing extremely outstanding. Therefore, conventional and UV processes can be used extremely economically, and countless creative designs can be realized.

MetalIFX® glazing effect
The conventional MetalIFX® silver ink is applied in the first printing unit. Subsequently, the conventional overprinting primary colors were directly printed on the silver ink in the second to fifth printing units by wet pressing. The full-scale water-based gloss varnish applied by the glazing unit serves to seal the entire printed sheet. Then use the infrared and hot air drying device in the extended delivery device to dry the printed sheets.
