This is Rachel, one of the co-founders of Noughty. Lorna and I started this journey back in 2016 with a clear vision: to build a natural hair and scalp care brand that truly puts people, the planet, and animals first. We wanted to deliver amazing results while spreading a whole lot of joy along the way.
A year ago, we became proud members of the B Corp community. This means we’re committed to making the world a better place and using business as a powerful tool for good. From day one, Noughty has been cruelty-free (Leaping Bunny approved) and vegan-friendly (Vegan Society certified). And now, we’ve taken another step forward by ensuring all our packaging is fully recyclable through First Mile.
Thanks to our collaboration with CleanHub, every single Noughty product you buy helps recover ocean-bound plastic in Southeast Asia. This year, we visited our local partners, Green Worms—a women’s cooperative—and met the incredible team behind this initiative. Your purchases have already helped collect over 141,000 kg of plastic that would otherwise end up in our oceans. Plus, these efforts have created safe, dignified, and fairly paid jobs for many.
We’re also excited to announce a new partnership with Mosaic Trust. Through this, we’ll be offering work experience placements to nurture young LGBT+ talent, helping them grow and thrive.
Over the last couple of years, things have gotten tough globally—rising labor costs, fluctuating raw material prices, and supply chain disruptions have all hit hard. Despite our best efforts, we’ve had to make some adjustments to keep maintaining the high standards and performance you expect from us while ensuring fairness throughout our entire supply chain.
Starting **July 1, 2024**, some of our products will see a small price increase. Most full-size items will go up by £1. These changes have been carefully thought through and implemented only when absolutely necessary. Keep an eye out for special offers and take advantage of our new Noughty Rewards program, which turns your purchases into exciting perks!
If you shop online, you might want to consider stocking up before midnight on **June 30, 2024**. Prices won’t stay the same forever!
