Pressed Powder

Pressed powder is mainly used for make-up. It is a beauty cosmetic made of a mixture of powder and matrix. Its shape changes with the shape of the container.

Pressed powder is mainly used for repairing uneven and falling parts of makeup. Generally, the powder cake is beautifully packaged with accessories such as Powder Puff and small mirror. It is convenient to carry around, and the powder is less flying when used.

Pressed powder can be divided into two main categories: beauty powder and compressed powder.

(1) Cake makeup

It is a product in which the mixture of powder and matrix is pressed into a cake shape, and the powder is transferred from the powder cake to the face with a wet sponge puff. For adhesion, the cosmetic powder coating contains enough oil and has water-repellent properties. The beauty powder cake contains oil and wax components up to 25%, and contains up to 15% water-soluble or water-dispersible components, such as moisturizers.

(2) Compressed powders

Compressed powder is a product made by pressing the powder and matrix mixture on a small plate under water pressure. Use the same type of dry powder puff as the loose white powder to apply. In recent years, the process and technology of compressed powder cakes have been greatly improved. Adding some gums, oils, esters and emulsifiers into the powder cake improves its spreading, covering, durability and other aspects.
