2. Safety protection device testing procedure:

1. Within the adjustable temperature range of the high and low temperature, low pressure test chamber, select three temperatures from both the high-temperature and low-temperature ranges for testing. For high temperatures, options include 30°C, 40°C, 55°C, 70°C, 85°C, 100°C, 125°C, 155°C, and 175°C. For low temperatures, options include 5°C, -5°C, -25°C, -30°C, -40°C, -55°C, and -65°C.

2. Set the over-temperature protection and alarm temperature to the selected test temperature. Then, cool or heat the chamber until the temperature at the geometric center of the working space reaches the set point. At this point, the over-temperature protection device should activate (stopping cooling or heating) and simultaneously trigger an alarm signal that meets the requirements outlined in section 5.3.3 of GBT10590-2006. This test should be repeated three times consecutively to ensure reliability.

3. Evaluation of test results: If the alarm and protection system functions correctly each time during the test, the chamber meets the required safety standards.

This testing process ensures that the high and low temperature, low pressure test chamber operates safely under various environmental conditions. It helps identify potential risks and guarantees that the equipment can protect both the operator and the test samples in case of abnormal temperature conditions.
