Flat Press Die Cutting Technology and Analysis of Related Problems (1)

Die-cut indentation is an indispensable process in the carton printing process. As people's requirements for the quality of the outer packaging of goods are getting higher and higher, the quality of die-cutting indentation is bound to increase. Flat die-cutting die cutting currently has a large market share in the field of domestic die-cutting. Although its technology is very mature, it will inevitably lead to such problems. Whether it is in the paper feeding section, the die cutting section, the scrapping section, or the receiving section, there are many problems plaguing the packaging and printing industry practitioners. Summarizing the questions to find out the crux of the problem and concentrating on solving it in a broad sense to provide reference for our peers is what we must strive to achieve. To this end, we interviewed Mr. Yan Ke of the Technical Department of Sichuan Wuniu Printing Co., Ltd. and Mr. Du Haoxin, Production Director of Jinan Tianyi Printing Co., Ltd. Mr. Mo Yanwen, Technical Director of Zhejiang Ningbo Dahongying Color Packing Co., Ltd., and Mr. Zheng Yong, Director of Hangzhou Qingtai Packaging & Printing Factory. Asked them to discuss their own experience in the faults, causes, and fault-eliminating methods that often appear in each part of the flattening and die-cutting process in conjunction with the production practices of the company. The following is based on the flat and die-cutting process (paper delivery - die-cutting - scrapping - collection) as the main line, summarizing their experiences and perspectives.

(I) Paper feeding section

The paper supply of the flattening and die-cutting die-cutting machine is mainly accomplished by Feida's paper-absorbing and paper-feeding operations. The paper is conveyed by means of a paper-feeding pressurizing roller, and the following failures occur in the feeding process.

1. Paper is unstable and needs to be adjusted frequently

The failure is mainly for the domestic die-cutting machine, because the majority of home-made die-cutting machine does not use the belt with suction, easily lead to unstable paper, paper positioning accuracy is not high, the paper guide roller, transport belt, pressure Paper feathers, front stoppers, side stoppers, etc. are prone to wear. Paper knocking, ten sides and adjustment during paper feeding can effectively solve this problem.

2. Paper feeding is not smooth

There are several reasons why paper feeding may not be smooth, mainly due to paper deformation, the print surface being too smooth or caused by other mechanical problems.

(1) Paper feeding caused by paper deformation is not smooth

Since die-cutting processing is a process at the end of the entire printing process, the paper is easily deformed after processing through a number of processes, especially after high-temperature, high-pressure glazing, and after the film is coated, the deformation of the paper is more serious. Feed paper.

(2) Paper feeding caused by the surface of the print is not smooth. The coated product is too smooth due to its surface. It will also cause some difficulties for the paper.

For the above two cases, experienced operators will make preliminary preparations before loading paper, such as loading paper, adding some wooden wedges or paper rolls to keep the paper flat and pre-fighting when loading paper. Edge, knock paper work or the appropriate speed of the die cutting machine can generally avoid the occurrence of this problem.

(3) Difficulty in feeding paper due to mechanical failure

Feida suction mouth suction is not enough, from the paper pile on the plane of the position is not appropriate, the rules of the positioning of inaccurate mechanical reasons such as the paper will be caused by the process of oblique sheets, double sheets, empty sheets and other faults. As long as the maintenance of the die-cutting machine and the adjustment of the mechanical parts are performed properly, the paper-feeding difficulties caused by mechanical failures will be avoided.
