Dispelling the Craft Problem of Thermal Transfer Texture on Metal Surface

Instructions

1. The wood grain heat transfer paper and the PET heat transfer film are all made of the principle of heat sublimation and infiltration to realize the transfer decoration. The transfer process is: selection of substrate → heat transfer with wood grain heat transfer paper or PET heat transfer The film is tightly wrapped around the substrate → heat transfer → surface cleaning → inspection → packaging.

2. Selection of substrate : The substrate must be a high-temperature-resistant plastic material or a substrate that has been treated by spraying, baking, electrophoresis, etc. The substrate surface material should be suitable for transfer.

3. Slightly explain the transfer process of woodgrain thermal transfer paper and PET heat transfer film.

4. Use wood grain heat transfer paper transfer

5. Process one: use thermal transfer glue paste transfer, suitable for large area or shaped substrate

The first step: Select the substrate that has been sprayed or electrophoresed.

The second step: use the thermal transfer glue to paste the surface of the woodgrain thermal transfer paper with the transferred surface of the transferred base material (select manual operation of hand-rubbing, stickers, or use a universal wheel Machine brushing and mechanical operation of the sticker) The purpose of using the thermal transfer glue is to make the wood grain heat transfer paper adhere to the transferred surface of the transferred substrate.

Step 3: Send the wrapped substrate to the oven for baking. The baking temperature and length of time should be based on the characteristics of the transferred substrate, the depth of texture to be transferred, and the specific properties of the oven. With proper adjustment, the transfer temperature is usually 160 to 180°C and the time is 5 to 8 minutes.

Step 4: Remove the substrate that has been transferred from the oven, tear off the thermal transfer paper, and clean the surface.

6. Process II: Suitable for large area or profiled substrates

The first step: Select the substrate that has been sprayed or electrophoresed.

Step 2: Wrap the transferred substrate with a woodgrasp thermal transfer paper and secure the paper interface with a heat-resistant adhesive tape to prevent the woodgrain transfer paper from loosening. (Note: The front surface of the woodgrain transfer paper must be attached to the transferred surface of the transferred base material.)

Step 3: Put a plastic plastic bag with high temperature resistance and good tightness on the substrate that has been wrapped with woodgrain thermal transfer paper, and then pull the vacuum from both ends of the plastic plastic bag until the plastic plastic bag can Adhere to the substrate fully and effectively. The vacuum negative pressure should be properly adjusted according to the characteristics of the substrate to be transferred and the negative pressure that plastic plastic bags can withstand, usually between 0.3 and 0.8 Mpa. (Note: The purpose of using plastic bags is to force the wood-grained thermal transfer paper that is already attached to the substrate to fully and effectively adhere to the substrate by negative pressure.)

Step 4: The wrapped substrate is sent to the oven for baking. The baking temperature and length of time should be based on the characteristics of the transferred substrate, the depth of texture to be transferred, and the specific properties of the oven. With proper adjustment, the transfer temperature is usually 160 to 180°C and the time is 5 to 8 minutes.

Step 5: Remove the substrate that has been transferred from the oven, remove the plastic plastic bag from the end of the transferred substrate (Note: This plastic plastic bag can be reused), and tear off the thermal transfer paper. Make the surface clean.

7. Process III: Suitable for flat substrates

The first step: Select the substrate that has been sprayed or electrophoresed.
The second step is to align the front surface of the woodgrain thermal transfer paper with the front surface of the transferred base material.
The third step: plate heat transfer press, heating, usually transfer temperature is 160 ~ 180 °C, time is 18 ~ 25 seconds.
Step 4: Remove the thermal transfer paper.

8. Use PET heat transfer film transfer

a process one: suitable for profiled substrates

The first step: Select the substrate that has been sprayed or electrophoresed.

The second step is to wrap the transferred substrate with a PET thermal transfer film and seal the PET thermal transfer film into a tubular bag with an ultrasonic sealer. (Note: The front surface of the PET heat transfer film must be attached to the transferred surface of the transferred substrate.)

Step 3: Vacuum from the two ends of the tubular PET heat transfer film bag until the PET heat transfer film can fully and effectively adhere to the substrate. The vacuum negative pressure should be properly adjusted according to the characteristics of the substrate to be transferred and the negative pressure that the PET heat transfer film can withstand, usually between 0.3 and 0.8 MPa.

Step 5: Remove the substrate that has been transferred from the oven, and remove the PET heat transfer film by manually or mechanically blowing (that is, blowing the PET heat transfer film tubular bag by blowing).

b Process 2: For flat substrates

The first step: Select the substrate that has been sprayed or electrophoresed.

The second step is to align the front surface of the PET heat transfer film with the front surface of the transferred substrate.

The third step: plate heat transfer press, heating, usually transfer temperature is 160 ~ 180 °C, time is 18 ~ 25 seconds.
