The photoelectric protection function of a Tianjin full-cut paper cutting machine failed, and the machine could still work after the emergency treatment. However, because there was no protection test, the operator was worried about personal safety, which resulted in low work efficiency.

Remove the circuit board, visual inspection, found that the substrate around the power bridge pile discoloration, it is determined that the bridge pile has been burned out, put on the bridge pile power test, still no response. Measured with a multimeter, the newly replaced bridge pile has also been burned out, thus judging that there is a short circuit portion. Checking the components one by one from the bridge stack, it was found that a three-terminal voltage regulator block (7805) was broken down, bought a component replacement, and the power indicator on the circuit board was turned on after power up. The operator installed the circuit board on the machine and operated according to the normal procedure to check whether the photoelectric protection function was working. The operator covered the light eyes and the knife dropped immediately. It was tested several times and it was normal. Faults are ruled out.
