1. Characteristics of mirror ink:

1. The mirror ink is made of special metal powder and resin as the basic materials. After the screen printing, the metallic mirror effect is achieved. Due to the need to maintain the maximum fluidity of the ink, the ink is added with a large amount of special solvents, so the viscosity of the mirror ink is very low, as low as Water. Therefore, the difficulty of screen printing is greater, requiring high-tech printing. (1) When there is no printing, the mirror ink has leaked through the silk screen and contaminated the substrate. (2) In the printing process, the mirror ink is very easy to dry. In addition to easy clogging, the dried mirror ink will also accumulate on the net and become "silver slag", which reduces the mirror effect of the printed matter.

2. Mirror ink uses the smooth performance of the surface of the printing material, so that the metal powder pigment in the printed ink is arranged in parallel on the flat surface of the printing material to obtain the mirror effect. 1. Mirror silver B, only suitable for printing PET film.

2. Mirror silver NO.2, can print PET, PC, PVC, PMMA.

4. Color mirror ink NO.3, with medium gold, red gold, and green gold, is a colored mirror ink with high viscosity, which can print PET, PC, PVC, PMMA.

3. The printing technique of mirror ink:

1. First of all, you should understand that mirror inks are as rare as water, and printing skills are the key. When the printing speed is slow, on the one hand, the mirror inks that are as thin as water will leak down the screen. The obtained mirror effect is not good. For this reason, when printing, the mirror ink must be continuously printed quickly after being poured on the screen to be able to print smoothly. Even if the speed of the workpiece is checked while printing, the printing effect will be affected, such as blocking. The ink can not be printed on the screen, and the slag mass is formed on the screen.

2. The environment temperature and humidity when printing mirror ink are very important. Because the ink is easy to dry on the screen, it cannot be screen printed in an environment with large air circulation, otherwise it is very easy to block the network and become agar-like. At the same time, when the air humidity is high, the mirror effect is poor. When screen printing, avoid air flow and humidity as much as possible, and the screen printing environment should strengthen the dehumidification treatment. If the mirror ink is stored at 20 ℃, and screen printing at 20 ℃, the printability will be better.

3. Since the ink is rare like water, you should choose a high-mesh screen. Not only that, but the hardness of the rubber scraper should be harder, which can be more than 80 °.

4. The mirror ink must be fully stirred before use, so that the metal powder and the resin must be fully mixed evenly to ensure the appearance of the mirror effect, otherwise, it will affect the production of the mirror effect.

5. The tension of the screen is slightly lower, the screen distance is adjusted closer, and the scraping pressure of the scraper is appropriately reduced, so that the mirror effect can be produced.

6. When using mechanical printing, the ink-recovery knife can not be made of hard aluminum or stainless steel. Instead, use a colloidal ink-recovery knife to ensure that the screen printing ink is evenly applied to make the mirror effect uniform.

7. The mirror effect of the mirror ink is related to the drying method. As far as the mirror effect is concerned, natural drying is not as good as heating and drying. Note that the temperature of heating and the drying time should be the same, otherwise the mirror performance and color saturation will also be There is a difference. 4. The recommended screen printing process parameters for mirror inks are based on several mirror inks manufactured by Japan Seiko. The printing parameters are:

1. The screen version uses 270 ~ 300 mesh / IN screen.

2. The solvent-resistant coating is used for the photosensitive coating, such as the CP2 photoresist of Sanhe Camry or the PLUSâ…¡ photoresist of British Cototai or the thin capillary film.

3. The rubber scraper (scraper) is 80 ~ 85 °.

4. Diluent: It is not needed under normal conditions. If necessary, T-1000 diluent can be added, and it needs to be fully stirred before use.

5. Screen printing environment: low temperature, low humidity, continuous screen printing, printing environment does not require air circulation.

6. Drying: 10 ~ 15 minutes at 80 ℃, 15 ~ 20 minutes at 60 ℃, 20 ~ 30 minutes at room temperature.

5. Notes on using mirror ink:

1. If you need to cover other series of inks on the mirror ink, you should choose a series of inks that will not erode the mirror ink, otherwise it will destroy the mirror effect.

2. The printed mirror ink must be thin and even. At the same time, the mirror ink itself cannot be overprinted. The overlap printing will cause the peeling of the metal powder in the mirror ink. If the mirror ink is used on IMD, the mirror ink should be more than 0.5mm away from the cut edge to prevent damage to the cut edge of the mirror ink when cutting edges such as PC.

3. Formable sheets that are transparent to PC and PMMA often have internal stresses. When printing, pay attention to the erosion of these materials by the solvent. Not only will the mirror effect be lost, but also the stress will be released under the action of the solvent. And cracking, therefore, before screen printing, it must be tested before production or such sheets must undergo aging and anti-cracking treatment.

4. After printing the mirror ink on the inorganic glass, it can not be dried by natural or low temperature drying method. It must be dried above 100 ℃, so that the mirror ink can have good adhesion on the glass and also show a good mirror effect.

5. Because the mirror ink is thin like water, usually no thinner is added. It is worth noting that when the viscosity becomes higher, it can be diluted with a special thinner, and then printed after the viscosity is restored, but if the mirror oil has agglomerated, the thinner cannot be used.

6. The mirror ink should be kept in a sealed container at an ambient temperature of <25 ° C, otherwise it will deteriorate, or it will naturally deteriorate after a long storage time. Once the viscosity becomes higher, the ink becomes hard and discolored, indicating that it cannot be used.
