The manual report of the Power Supply Bureau is irregular and nested, and the effect of inputting data into the data report and then printing is obviously not good, and the general printing method cannot meet the requirements. In order to comply with the original manual tabulation format, the system uses the Printer object for special printing programming. In the output of data charts, with the help of spreadsheet EXCEL, its powerful chart analysis function can meet various requirements.
Data sharing: In the current database system development process, the client / server architecture occupies the main position in this field. VC 6.0 can easily and efficiently complete the development of this database system. With the help of the ADO model, the internal LAN can be realized more simply and flexibly. data sharing. In the local area network, users only need to know the IP address of the server, and can connect to the server through the client program to achieve data sharing.
Security: data entry, modification, and query have functions such as confirmation and cancellation to avoid errors such as data loss due to misoperation. It has the self-checking function of the integrity of the database files; there are special module designs for data confidentiality, backup and recovery, which ensure the absolute security of the data.
2 Structure of the program system
According to the power communication protocol, the entire program function module of the relay protection tester can be roughly divided into the following eight categories:

Although VB has powerful data processing capabilities, it lacks sufficient data table output function that the relay protection tester conforms to Chinese habits. Although the Crystal Report control and Crystal Reports program can be used to output reports, the operation is cumbersome and the Chinese processing ability is not ideal, especially it can not be used to create tables with uncertain content. In order to comply with the original manual tabulation format, the system uses the Printer object for special printing and programming, and compiles a general data table output control, which can automatically generate a two-dimensional Chinese table based on the results of statistical analysis and print it out.
3.3 Design of data security module
In terms of data security, it includes design to avoid misoperation during data editing, confidentiality design of the database of the relay protection tester, and design of regular backup of the database. To prevent misuse of data, use the "transaction" method (ie Begin Trans, Commit Trans, Rollback and other transaction statements) [3].
