The Vienna Ferris Wheel dominates the "World 3D Printing Challenge"

The advent of the 3D printing era has created the dream of many makers around the world. Makers around the world use their own unique ideas to build their own 3D models and complete the real transition from concept to reality!

Recently, the Thingiverse user “stylesuxx” took the lead in the 3D printing international landmark construction challenge with the “Vienna Ferris Wheel”. The Vienna Ferris Wheel is one of the earliest Ferris Wheels and is located at the entrance to the Prater amusement park in Leopoldstadt, the second district of Vienna, Austria. It is one of Vienna's most popular tourist attractions. It was built in 1897 for the Golden Jubilee celebration of Emperor Franz Joseph I, with a total height of 64.75 meters. The stylesuxx Ferris wheel has 15 cockpits. Since each cockpit is the same, plus the use of OctoPrint software, the same parts can be printed all the time, without the hassle of changing the print job. The assembled Ferris wheel can run very well, so the exquisite and excellent production must have only 3D printing to be fast.
