Beer box creasing line edge burst processing method

Die-cut indentation is an important production process for the post-press processing of packaging products, which directly affects the product's use effect and quality. Therefore, it is very important to improve the quality of the product by putting a good die-cut indentation process technology.

In the recent die-cutting of beer boxes, a quality failure phenomenon has emerged: When the machine, die-cut plate, corrugated board thickness, and die-cutting pressure are all constant, another kind of beer-box board is converted into halfway in production. When cutting, the edge of the longitudinal indentation line (parallel to the corrugated sheet) of the layout sometimes bursts, and the bursting marks are all internal paper layers (ie, a layer of paper inside the box, usually using cardboard paper , And according to customer requirements, the product of the paper is made of corrugated paper), there is no rule of the length of the crack, ranging from 30 to 80mm.

In this regard, if the die-cutting pressure is reduced or the indentation grooves on the iron plate are not used, the indentation line is not clear enough. This not only affects the rapid molding of the paste box, but also tends to cause the deflection phenomenon. The effect of production will be adversely affected.

How to handle this situation reasonably? After careful observation and analysis, there are two main reasons for the bursting of corrugated board after indentation: First, due to the poor fiber toughness and strength of the paper, the paper is relatively brittle. Second, corrugated board has a certain thickness

The bursting is caused by the small "sinking" surface of the paper during the indentation.

Because the corrugated cardboard is placed on the press plate when indentation, the distance between the paper and the platen surface of the corrugated top is about 3.5mm, and the paper layer is almost in the “floating” state. Then, when the machine is pressed, since the corresponding paper part of the indentation knife assumes a linearly sinking shape after being pressed, if the “sinking” surface of the paper is smaller, the edge thereof is more prone to cracking. This point can also be inferred by the principle of cutting something with a knife. If the edge of the knife edge is thin, it will be easier to cut things. It can be seen that in the case of poor paper strength, the “lower” surface of the paper layer in the corrugated cardboard corresponding to the indentation line must be slightly larger to be less prone to cracking.

After the cause analysis, the two sides of the indentation blade on the die-cut plate corresponding to the burst cracks are used. Each paste has a width of about 8 mm. The length corresponds to that of the indentation blade. The height of the sponge is flush with the indentation blade. After the paste is pasted on the sponge strip, when the pressure is combined, the die-cutter and its two sides of the sponge press the corrugated cardboard at the same time. Since the “sinking” surface of the paper is large, the edge of the cardboard indentation line is no longer cracked. Ensure the product's die-cutting quality.
